“Oh Goddess, Oryon! Did you see their faces?” she asked gasping, tears streaming down her cheeks. “They really thought… that…” She found she couldn’t go on. Goddess really? They’d known it was just her and Oryon in the room. There was no way she could ever harm him?
“You could you know,” he said putting an arm on either side of her, caging her in between his hard body and the dome.
“Could what?” she asked still laughing not realizing she’d spoken aloud.
“Harm me. You are the only one that could.” His eyes were serious as they met hers.
“What?” she whispered her humor fading.
“You, Isis, are my one weakness. I would sacrifice everything for you, even my honor.”
